EK Horn - Sequence of parts

Post by Gossy »

Hi all,
I am having trouble with the horn assembly on my EK. Got a New contact ring (original) and Brush ( rare spares) and the manuals sequence of order placement. I have all the parts but no success making it feel right. No springy-ness to it like it should.

is very concise and thorough, but i am still not having much luck.

Posting these images up to show the parts and how I am doing it - if anyone can see whats not right here pls let me know.

cheers
Gossy

I seem to do this too every time I put the horn back together. From memory it's either the spring and spacer in the wrong order, or the spring is the wrong way up.

Cheers,
