looks like the old 202 in the ek is on its last legs, well its commin out soon anyway but i still need to drive it 4 the next 2 weeks

its pingin its ass off under load aswell as it popping through the carby
changed the plugs ,redone the timing and also gave the carby a good clean out
thought it could have been dodgey fuel at first but sounds more terminal
burnt valves maybe :(
any thoughts??

A long shot but a well worn cam can do it too - valves not opening enough.
Easily distracted angle manipulator extrordinaire.

Valves or timing mr seddon.can you put another head on.Overnight surgery.

thanks 4 the advice guys
all sorted well almost engine is fine the carby is shagged though needs a rebuild
so it looks like it will live to see another few weeks
:P
