The weather improved enough to get Igor out of his shed and do a photo shoot in our back yard.
pic 1. Shows "him" fully set up with the annexe we had made.
pic 2. Rear view "with a modern extra....tv antenna"
pic 3. looking toward the rear with divan made into bed.
pic 4. looking forward (where the tv is is where the bed is supposed be)
Igor has a 179 motor with a Toyota 5 speed gearbox.
(refer to communication in this forum in July this year under the heading Jackos rare car a van lol)
We reckon Igor does not look as ugly now.
Has a full chassis. We have a ball going away in it, especially now with the annexe. (We took it to the Victorian AHD in 2004 at Sandown.)

oops, wrong wording
The basis of Igor was a station wagon, using the wagon floor pan which was reinforced as well as the front subframe being reinforced as well Pretty technical stuff.

To answer some questions on Igor .
Ratbox, he handles remarkably well for a vehicle that weighs 1750 kg and most of that weight is over the rear axle. Which is out of a &*#@ transit van with dual wheels. Maybe the weight is what helps it corner so well.
Ray, no it does not run on gas just good old unleaded, and we have never checked the economy of this or any of our cars as we feel that if you start to worry about that you could end up selling them. But I will say the mileage is better now that we have a 5th gear that we can use. When we first got him it would jump out of top gear. No he wont be entered in the van nats as we have a very busy time planned for Easter.
If anyone is in this part of the country and would like to visit Igor [and us] you are most welcome.
