That went so well I decided to lay down a White base for the metallic red to go over. :D :D

Thanks for the thoughts, it turned out a lot better than I expected.
Finally got that nice gloss straight off the gun. :D :D
Got back into it again today and started putting bits back on.

Probably doesn't show up in the photos, but the pearl flake in the red really shines in the sun. :D :D

Can't get the doors on until I get the rubber kit, and that means a bit of money. :?
A lot of money :( :(

So it may be time to sell the sedan to raise the funds to finish the wagon. :wtf: :wtf:
EK sedan, commodore red motor, 5 speed, with extras.
Or I might just cover it, but the sedan will need to go sooner or later.
Great to finally see it coming together, but a lot of work still to go.

Love the red and silver combo... Been a good build to follow, pretty envious of the wagon looking good.

If you decide to sell the sedan let me know..

Cant wait t o se some more updates.

Thanks Guys.
Cleaned up the door mechanisms and other minor items, they really chew up the time.
The ignition barrel needed a good clean up so I removed it altogether.
Got the doors unwrapped and started looking at what I need to finish them.

The door card colour didn't grab me. The reds just seem to clash, not sure what colour might be better.

Ordering carpet from Knox carpets and Rubber kit from ????? Better do some more checking. :egeek:

Gazza most paint shops won't be able to paint candy apple and seeing its a candy apple there will be no paint code as its not a factory style paint. With candy the more you add the darker it gets and the colour will vary depending on what colour base is used. You need to find a shop that specializes in custom paint rather than smash repair. Nekro on here may be able to help you out or give you a contact.
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.

Don't know the codes but it's the metallic red used on the current model Mitsubishi's.
The Silver was from the same.
