Buy a red heeler as new best friend (female as they are more loyal)and take her everywhere you go     and if you can still buy them small softball bats(about 2 1/2 foot long and put down beside the drivers seat and door. They are very hard to notice and have a lasting effect on theive's. ..... Only prob with the dog is you get dog hair everywhere BUT you will still have your stereo..... Cheers Mark :D :D :D :D :D

so now i have another question for you fbek brainiacs: how the hell can i stop the rattles comming from my doors when i turn my stereo up to any decent volume? is sound deadening the way? or is it the mechanisms rattling? also how can i stop my boot lock rattling? the actual external handle/lock hole chrome thingo is loose and sounds really bad. how can i tighten it?

thx

haha well actually, the volume i like to listen to it at is relatively low, about 1/3 of its potential, however if i turn it up louder then some of the rattles get drowned out, but thats not a pleasant volume  any leads on the boot lock? how can it be tightened up, or is it worn?

Andrew,

If the parts are worn try applying a shit load of grease or chain lube to the rattleing parts. This works as I have done it myself on other cars.

My old FC was full of stereo gear and when we reassembled it all we put window sealant behind every trim clip. Guess what no rattles at 125db!!!!
Ringing in my ears though

Try fitting new rubbers in boot lock and anywhere else they are meant to be, also look at your glass to see if it moves in the bailey channels.
