Hi All
I’ve been contacted by a bloke in Brisbane who has somehow found an add I placed on the net for a diff almost 10 years ago! I suggested he try here but for some reason isn’t able to register as a member and he’s asked if I can post a wanted add for him.
He’s looking for a crown wheel and pinion gear to suit a grey motor diff or failing that a complete diff assembly (he has an FX ute which he wants to keep original). He’s been searching for some time now and for love nor money hasn’t been able to source one.
He is located in the Brisbane area and can be contacted on 0411 349 498.
If you can help him out please contact his mobile, don’t PM me as I don’t actually know him, just lending a hand.
Cheers
Charlie

Well Mick lets see now
I was into Honda 750's (the old K series) in the 70's, first thing we did was throw the old four into four pipes away cause all the cool riders had four into ones (the louder the better) and "nobody" wanted those "poxy" standard pipes
My first (secondhand) HQ Monaro, whats the first thing I did...........................Oh yeah, dump those "poxy" factory mags for some real mags, I even left them where I had the new mags fitted cause I didn't want the worthless things
And of course my favourite, grey motor speed parts.....years ago I used to step over or around it at swap meets, bloody old grey motor junk ( who would waste their time with that junk)
So now there's not much I don't throw away cause you never know, and oh yeah I've kept the original 3.89 diff centre out of my FJ when I changed gearing cause good one's are hard to find
Mick
