G'day Stewart
Mate, Old Timer is looking absolutely fantastic !
It won't be long before you and your Grandad will be out collecting firewood again
I can't wait to 'meet' this lovely wagon, and good luck on the run down to the finish mate and keep the pics coming !!!
Cheers

Re: Rebuilding of Old Timer (EK wagon)
Looks great!! Mine is so far from being to that stage...
The special badge on the glovebox, Is that only on EK's? My FB Special doesn't have a badge there, I was wondering has it been taken off or was that added for EK's?

Ditto what Wayne said...
Thanks Dave and Muza. Very close now Bootlegger...
Two weeks ago with the help of Craig I trailered Old Timer over to Dr Terry my mechanic for all the final adjustments, running the engine in, proper wheel alignment etc.
First we pushed her up the driveway, up and out onto the road and winched onto the trailer...hot work. She was pretty heavy! it didn't help that the rear brakes were dragging either...

A short trip to Dr Terry and we unloaded her.

Whilst there Dr Terry had a quick look under the bonnet. We managed to get her into gear and I drove into the workshop.
Craig nearly strangled me when we realised we could have driven her up onto the trailer.
Terry had her for two weeks and straightened out a few bugs and I've got the nod that she's good to go...
Tomorrow morning I'm fronting up to the Roads and Maritime Service to get Club Plates (historic rego)...I don't think I'll be sleep a wink tonight!
Wish me luck!!!
