Great work as always, Stewart!

You must be just about booked into the rego office... I just checked and number plates OL-71-MR are available

Looking forward to seeing it on the road finally, as I'm sure many others are :D

Many thanks for your comments fellas.

That's a cool plate Mat. I'd love to go full rego but at this stage my wallet is not deep enough. I'm not prepared to take the FB off full rego in case something happens to the original plates - CHL 061.

Marty - Man I would love to see CNY 626 back on the bumpers...that would be the icing. 8)

All door opening and winding mechanisms de-rusted, cleaned and painted and installed and working...except for the drivers door will only open from the inside... :x

I had a lot of trouble getting the window glass to wind up and down as they sat very tight in the felts and channels but the silicon spray did the trick.

I've had to change my plans for the carb linkages. Originally I was going to have them hanging off the side of the intake manifold but it fouls the linkage on the firewall. So I popped down to Redline to buy W clips and rod connector but they were out of stock for the next 2 weeks... ebay came to the rescue and I got a set from Geelong in 2 days... 8)

The countdown is now on for firing her up...maybe on Sunday? Still to finish is some fuel lines, carb linkages and vaccuum line.

Sooo close now... :D
