She made the trip across Australia drama free. Thanks to all that offered advice and their experiences, I defiantly think that the prep work put in made the drive a lot less stressful :thumbsup:

Got a few pics from the drive that I will post up shortly. Stay tuned! 8)

Love the roof..looks nice! I'll be doing the same sort of thing to an EJ I'll be customizing for "Space Ace" Pete.

Good stuff, looks like the ol girl did you proud. All the prep work sure did pay off. But then again they are meant for driving!

Just read this thread, and although it did look not too bad at the start, what you have done is very cool!!!
Im really starting to dig the cruiser style, and i think this one has gotta nearly be the pick of the bunch for me~

Thanks mate, the photos made it look abit better when I first got it. I do have plans to do a full nut and bolt rebuild, but it's just too much fun driving it, I can't bring myself to pull it off the road.

Thanks, defiantly keen to check out some of the local fb/eks. Need to get some contacts for people in the industry over here too.

Lovin it dude, look's like you had a bit of a massacre on those headlights, i remember when i bought mine i drove it back from Wagga through multiple locust swarms... messy...
