Stewart, are you sure you didn't have a rello somewhere that had another old Holden that you could search for, find and do a resto on (with a 327 in it just for balance

My Grandfather on my Mum's side had a '40s? Chev...but well and truly looooong gone. I can't see another project for some time...next is to get the FB back on the road after the breakdown on the way to Mt Gambier Nats...

Hey Stewart,
Good work on getting those trunnions in! Great that you're learning it all along the way.
Checked out my spare selectors and thay all seem to have various degrees of 'bend' in them too
Keep up the good work - looking forward to sseing the 'on road' pics and video in the near future!

This is just an awesome build, kinda mind blowing really.
If you could bottle passion for a build and sell it you would be a very rich man....

Stewart I have just spent the last couple of hours re reading this thread.
It is a massive credit to you and all of those that have helped. Old Timer is looking fantastic and I'm sure the whole story has inspired many a forum member, including myself.
