Recoreing a FB/EK Radiator
Recoreing a FB/EK Radiator
Anyone got a idea on how much it would cost to recore one?

Re: Recoreing a FB/EK Radiator
Sorry to dredge up an old but had to get mine re-cored this week - was not worth repairing as it had dents and cracks everywhere.
Went to mideast radiators in Nunawading and they say they can't match the original core anymore - they use a 2 row core which is a bit lower volume and a bit narrower but managed to chase down a mob in QLD that make a triple core with boxed in bottom - so they don't use the bottom tank (it's still there but blanked out) and it gives a slightly more than original volume - not cheap though at 600$ - will post some pics when it gets here later in the week.
