Paddock Find at the weekend

Post by 1962ek »

Hi guys, came across an FB in a paddock last week and this weekend I went and bought it and trailered it to it's new home. Complete except for front end , engine and gearbox.
Yes, it has a BOOT BADGE and a good Bonnet Bar. Needs new floor pans but the rest is in great condition even the chrome is good. Interior not so good.
will post pics later. Another project to take on and this means I'll have to work harder to finance yet another resto. Bloody Holden cars, they certainly get you in don't they?
Will keep you informed on the progress.
Cheers Graham

The only nasty bits are the floor pans and spare wheel well.
Dead set original, straight as a gun barrel, all stainless is perfect and NO seats.
I have plans to keep it standard but maybe change the colour. I polished up some places that have not been in the weather and not too keen on it. Maybe it would be better to look at the whole car painted. Anyone out there got a pic of one in this colour? CANYON BLUE
Have a few more pics of the rusty bits, will post later Graham

G'day Stewart, I'm sure Moss was a nasco accessory but you don't seem to see too many on the cars these days. Now if I could only work out a way to remove it and sell it on ebay.
Maybe I should just advertise the moss with an FB thrown in? Rare Nasco moss is worth a mint. Cheers Graham

Oh my god i would gurny the moss off, and just leave the patina'd paint as it is. That is so perfect.
