You need to re-size the image in a photo editing program. Don't have one? Try Irfanview it's free download from here

Once you have resized the image upload it to your Photobucket account and set the path for your avatar via your forum log-in profile.

You need to follow these basic steps:

1) Open Irfanview
2) Open your Photograph = Keyboard "O" (.jpg)
3) Resize your Photograph 165 pixels wide = Keyboard "Ctrl+R"
4) Save As = Keyboard "S" Save as .jpg (Rename the photo image to say photoname_thumb.jpg etc)
5) Upload to Photobucket
6) Set as your Avatar path in your forum log-in profile

Mate, I have one or two.... But really I just have a bash!

Anyway, for those who are more into watching how things are done I just made up a simple Flash tutorial. If you don't get it after watching this I can't help. Be aware I made this at 4.30am and was getting a little tired.

View the tutorial here

I hope someone finds it useful.
