The engine in my EK Holden is a V8 from Japan(imagine saying that in 62?)
Absolutely no offence my kiwi brother but as Bob Dylan once sang

Awesome job mate, hats off to yourself and your fabricator
The crossmember looks to be a top notch job, come up a treat.

got the car painted last week , now its the fun part ,putting it all back together. got a couple of questions . Is there a small clip or something at the top middle of the windsceen , there is a self tapper hole there, and I have a metal strap about 1.2 m long and about 20mm wide with slightly up turned edges and holes in it about every 200mm , I remember taking it off the car but can't figure out where it goes now.ImageImageImageImage

Hi There,

That looks like the strip that holds the rubber between the rear bumper bar and body.

It stops all the dirt and crud splashing up onto the beaver panel where the fuel tank hole is.
