So glad I went, this book is put together by Greame Smith (currently writes for Herald Sun Cars Guide), Geoff Paradise (formerly Street Machine) and a few other names I can't remember. This book is a little like the Rodders Journal only purely Australian. It features some great survivors one being the Crimson Pirate (Caruana/Pirotta Bucket) a car not seen since the early 70's, some early thunderbirds and Southern Hot Rod club cars, Some from NSW and early drag racing shots. Future articles will be on Eddie Thomas now in his 90's and still working at his workshop (who was there) and more of the cars that have survived. I felt really young there as there were alot of the older guys at the launch.
Any way here are some pics...
Crimson Pirate.
