Engine is in!!!!!!

However, the carbys are fouling on the LHS inner wheel well near where the batter used to sit.

So, some notching of my freshly painted engine bay is needed :esad:
Also, my cheap radiator bottom outlet is too far towards the centre of the rad and the hose will foul on the timing cover

So, a few more modifications needed!

At least it looks cool.

Jay - post the pictures!

Hi Guys,

The radiator was not in its intended position in that picture - it was just sitting in place.

I went to our factory unit for play tonight and the radiator now has enough clearance for me to stick my finger between it and the water pump pulley up to my second knuckle on my middle finger.
I think this will be plenty of clearance

I have also manage to get the bottom hose to work with a bit of trimming.

So, I guess I had a win with the car today :D

Always a bonus. I tend to walk away when too many things start going pear shaped and tackle it fresh the next day, always a better outcome then.

Good to see it coming together quite nicely.
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.
