hi guys been a while since i posted a update have moved house and everything so moving the ute and all its part was rather time consuming also been to a wedding and had the inlaws and so much stuff that ive barely had any time... so heres a few pics, i managed to get my hands on a pretty nice motor and a celica 5 speed with dellow conversion needs a nice clean and paint job but the motors fully reconditioned and has rollers rockers, lumpy cam all balanced, extracters and tripple strommy downdrafts on a cain manifold.

only problem is i wanted to fit my fully recoed triple SU,s for a while until i got the strommys recoed. but omg... look at the photo.. anyone else had this issue and fixed it?
as you can see also the person who done the larger gearbox tunnel stuffed up and measured wrong for the celica box so i had to cut it out again.

alright i need a few opinions and a reason for your opionin would help me greatly..

should i run, the 1 3/4 triple SU carbys that are fully reconditioned from the XU1
cut the firewall and move it back a inch behind the carbs which would also make room for my extractors and save me modifying those.

or

should i get the triple stromys reco'd and run those then modify the extractors or even make custom larger extractors if that benefits?

im really a tthe point i need to decide if i am going to cut the firewall or not and i am having trouble deciding.

also if i do cut the firewal and move it would it make an impact on room for installing aircon?

Yep, but it depends how far you notch it in. It will require alot of pre planning and measuring before you start cutting. How big is the AC unit going inside?
