Engine conversions perth???

Post by daveoek »

So Castlemain rods over eats do the kits, but is there a rod shop in Perth or even WA that will take my EK that's set up already for a 202 and do the work to drop a v6 or v8 in there and it be fully legal ???

Id also like to hear from any one that has done this project and the pro's cons and mistakes involved, im thinking either a 253 or v6 on gas as i do quite a few kilometres.

Daveo , the only bloke I know who does this for a living is Trevor Breeze , but I heard he is only building chassis now , not doing complete cars.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Mate I am half way through putting a 350 in my wagon its a CRS kit they need a bit of adjustment but they are pretty simple to install.

Car is still on the rotisserie at the moment and I have a small block in the clip.

I am in Mandurah you are welcome to come have a look PM for details.

I also have a conact that did a 350 into a sedan for a bloke in Mandurah if that is the way you wish to go.

Cheers

Ideally the way i wanna go is have an Ek that looks like a blown 57. i have no idea what the rules are regarding bonnet bug catchers/tunnel rams either.

Ideally if theres a mob that i could pay to do the job, from full length chassis. power steer , electric windows. to a mild to wild supercharged 350.

It would keep mine and the passengers nickers wet for some time to come.
