I'm still around!

Haven't touched the old girl since that last post.
I'll be out in the garage today for a clean-up, ready to get stuck in again.

Work is evil

Just realized it has been 13 months since I have worked on the car :?

Garage is cleaned up, spider webs removed and spray guns all cleaned up and ready.

Let's see how long this burst of energy lasts for? Back out for a restart tomorrow

Back into it :D :D :D

Stripped 3 more parts this arvo........

Image

The only panel on the car that wasn't straight (full of bog).......

I think I've changed my mind a million times on the paint for the old girl.
Thinking this might be better for the pinstripe than my previous idea........

Image

Haven't decided on whether to go with yellow above the top pinstripe and white over the entire bottom.
Or........ Yellow on top, white on the bottom and silver metallic (maybe lace?) in the flash.

Any suggestions :?: :?: :?:

That stripe you see is chalk SunnyTim.
The tape doesn't stay on too long. The masking tape in pic above is off already.

I've still got a while till I decide on the pinstripe. Bit unsure :?

It's driving me mad

This rust thing is almost knocked on the head now :D

Fenders "de-rusted" today........

Aerial hole gone........

And passenger's fender rust treated and deadened.......
Image

Just the two passenger's doors to strip and check for rust (don't think there is any),
fix the passenger's wheel spat and all rust free finally

Trust me when I say its worth it! You'll have trouble free motoring for ages this way.

As for the two tone, big nup on the wannabe 57 look. As much as it suits the shape the first thing most will say is why didn't he just get the real thing....
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.

I've been doing the same thing on my project for 8 years now, so why stress?  Life just always seems to get in the road...
Funny, I just welded up the aerial hole in my front guard too last weekend...

I've given myself no deadlines. I did say when bought it that there would be no rush to finish it.

Not much to show in this post, just more straightening and rubbing back.

I'm liking this pinstripe though.........
