Engine....

Post by NoMAD »

Got bored off sorting out little unvisable things, so i thought we would have a good crack at the engine, gearbox, diff angle etc...

Might as well let the pictures speak for themselves, just got to sort out a a gearbox mount, bit of a hybrid between using the original TH700 Mounts and something along the lines of the CRS one, but slightly modifyed!

Also going to start looking at the turbo/firewall mods!

Good bored watching crap TV so went to look at the firewall mods needed...

Tuns out can just cut the lip off and weld it to retain the strength & still be able to fit a heat shield! (thats not the final product still needs to be cleaned up etc...) also plan to get a new dump pipe made to run through the y frames to keep the exhaust away from the gearbox!

going for that old school look but with the obvious tweaks here and there all in all....what i want!

hopefully a few more long months sorting out drivline, brakes, fuel tank etc.... then can move onto sorting out the interior & Body.... if only it was that simple!
