Jarrod's FB Holden Project

Post by Jarrod »

Hey, My name is Jarrod I am 16 years old and i have my own FB Holden(Project) :) . I have been on this forum for a few months looking and learning a lot. So heres the FB, I bought it months ago pretty cheap ($900) from a guy who bought it a year before for $1500 (Adelaide). Apparantly the owner before him who was an old man had it stored in his shed for 15 years, Anyone know anything about it? It has all the crome all the original interior and i think it is the original paint. The parts are all there Just not in the best condition  I had alot of pictures but the memory card I had them on decided to break but someone else had taken pictures of it the day after we bought it so here they are. I have alot more pictures of it stripped have not had time to do much on it but getting stuck into it soon. Tell me what you think for price and whats its like. Any ideas/Suggestions? :D

Welcome aboard Jarrod
As I'm sure you're aware there is stacks of knowledge on here.
Ask lots of questions, there's bound to be someone that can answer them.
My suggestion would be to first remove the rust :D

yaayyyyyy another person who didn't buy a commodore with a fart cannon! you're already cool if you have one of these 8)
You'll have a fair amount of time fixing rust by the looks of it, so no rush deciding what to do with it i reckon. Chrome looks a shitload better than mine, so im already jealous.
But anyway...customise it  it's a first car and i know you want girls to look at you in it, so make it yours  Browse through the My FB EK section and you might get a few ideas

Have fun, and everyone here is only too happy to help

Go nostalgia Jarrod! Hot grey motor, lowered with big and little chromies, Tasmans or Hustlers. 8)
Or restored if you want the least hassle and expense option. But it's up to you. What kind of car appeals to you?
Oh, and welcome to the forum. :)

Welcome!
Best advice that I can give is make sure you have a steady job. They always need money poured into them but dont give up, try do most of it yourself and you can learn a long the way.

Cheers
