Can't wait to see this thing together.

Re: 22inch Ek
VERY impressive quality workmanship !!!
How could any self respecting engineer knock that back, especially if he saw the step by step progress. Compared to the original EK/king pin set up your converted HR one shits all over it! I take it the spring length remains stock ie control arm to bump rubber height while achieving a 50mm drop?
Keep posting - this project is one to follow mate.
Cheers

Re: 22inch Ek
Cheers for the comments, I cant wait till its done too!
Got a Bit more done today... End result, front of sil sits 90mm off the ground on standard hq stubs with the 22's..Once I get some 20's for the front and drop spindles is should sit half that.

Re: 22inch Ek
I've just re-read this whole thread again & I can't get over the amount of fantastic engineering involved on your car Kiid...
How's the search for 20" narrowed front wheels going? Where you able to track them down?
The narrowed front end looks terrific and is all but bullet-proof! I also read that you're going a 400ci Chev!
Will those narrowed 'hugger' headers on the 'Plastic' be able to be modified to fit a Chev donk? (Gawd, what am I saying look who's building this!
)
Watching with great interest...
Scotty.

Re: 22inch Ek
Again, thanks all for the comments....
Would have to make new pipes Scotty, but I'm still tossing up about the 400ci..
As for the wheels, I'm going to order a full set witht he correct off-set from the states. There is a place that does pretty much every style of wire wheel you can think of. They make some pretty sweet stuff. www.daytonawirewheels.com. I might change the red to more of a blood red than a copper red this time...

I wish,
No time dude.. Hopefully soon! Next thing will be fitting air bags to the front end then after that we'll start making up the new rails.
