Spent my day off fiddling with a few issues with the EK..was able to book some 'hoist time' at my mate's workshop today and fix my leaky rear gearbox seal (& give it some much needed oil) and change the poor old dead front springs..(plus replace the swaybar rubbers as they were chewed up 'n' spat out :? ). The front height is now a bit less than an inch higher but not on the bumpstops any more.. YAY ..sorry 'J' but it HAD to be done. The old springs must have been cut 'stockers' & they were the most 'lifeless' pair of springs I've ever come across. I now has a slightly cut set of Lovell's heavy duty spring in it now & the ride back was superb 8) :D .
Now I'm off to Fatboy's to feel around for a few parts & generally shoot the breeze.
I'll take a new photo of the ride height tomorrow in the sunshine.
