New Wagon for WA

Post by WesternWagon »

G Day crew

I have been reading the site for quite some time now (what a great site) I have been looking for an EK for about 12 months finally bit the bullet and bought on in QLD.

It arrived last week in WA and looks impressive, at this stage I am in 2 minds, one is a small block Chev & T 350 and the other is all original.

I had a strata blue EK sedan as my first car almost 30 years ago, I now have a new (large) shed so am looking forward to the time ahead and possibly a few more EK's to come.

I will endeavor to keep yopu all apdated of the progress and add as many pics as possible.

In the mean time I have added some pics of the arrival

Regards

Gary

Welcome to the Forum, Gary..(Pfft,, another Gaz with a V8 powered EK!! 8) :D  )
That is the spittin' image of a mate of mine's EK wagon he used to own in the late 70's/early 80's..same colour 'n' everything (although it would'nt be the same car,,it would have rusted to death before the 90's  ).
Good to see you have the compliance plate there for S.J's records too. :D

Whatever you do to this car..have a ball..it's a great hobby restoring/hotting up/customizing these pieces of Aussie history.

Once again welcome :D .

Scotty.
