neutral switch problems

Post by Woodie »

Hi, can anyone help me out. not electrically minded at all. I've changed my ek sedan over to red motor and trimatic. i'm using the original auto column and on other peoples advice have replaced the ek neutral switch at the base of the column with a hr one. my problem is the car wont start like its not in neutral and i don't know enough about how to hook the hr neutral switch up. the hr one has 3 pins grouped together in the center. 1 upright middle. 2 either side vertically. the old switch has only 2 connectors at either end.
ok. I'll stop it there cause I'm confusing myself now. lmao. but seriously any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

cheers. Woodie

Plenty of these conversions getting round, don't they leave all that as is and just change the Quadrant lettering?
