Just got back to Brissie. Didn't get any pics as our camera died on us. Saw a heap heap of cars that I haven't seen here in QLD before so that was cool. Beatniks corner was as good as always...love seeing cars that are driven hard.

Hey ratbox, did you get any snaps of what I think (didn't get a close look at it) was a 2 door '60 Impala...a gorgeous greenish colour by the looks of it, but sun was going down and we were heading in the opposite direction so can't say for sure. Looked like it had a for sale sign on the window?? I'd love to get a closer look at it so am hoping photos surface.

All in all, was a good day. Will be an event that will be missed from the SEQLD calendar, but I've heard talk of a grass roots, less commercial event being thrown about. Hope so

This was my first time to WinterSun, and it was good. :D :D :D :D
Lots and lots of great cars (shame about the number of left handers), and so many people...........

I saw your car FCCool, but you were busy talking at the time, and I think Ratbox did well to get that many good photos.
Just to many people in the way.

Anyhow, definately worth while, but shame its at the same time as Nationals.
May need to leave the wife at home next time, she got sore feet, and I'm sure I didn't get to see everything...
I post some other photos up if I get a chance, but I think Ratbox had a good sample.
The athmosphere at the event was great, cars music and themes.... should be more of them. :D :D

Ratbox was right; heaps of LH drive & millions of people, especially Sunday.
I saw the Sputswagon drive out as i drove in. Sorry to miss you Scotty.
The Goggomobiles were a big hit.. GO, GGO was all you could hear from passerbys.
apologies for photo size - i'm a learner & new camera
