You sound a bit surprised there Harko. Haven't seen much of Overhaulin (won't pay for TV) and only see Fooses stuff if it pops in show coverage and someone points it out. Big billet wheels don't excite me but crisp body lines and gaps and body mods that look factory do. So that car is a love hate thing for me. And you guys are right on the hit and miss, sometimes people need to know when to stop otherwise they can go too far.

yup, all about the lines for me. i reckon (within reason) a car thats been thoughtfully designed so that all the modifications flow together with the car and don't look out of place doesn't need big wheels to say 'look at me!'
the wheels are more for grabbing attention of the guys that drive skylines and civics

Yes but Id almost guarantee when you looked at that 54 the wheels didnt jump out and grab you , Theres the trick .
They do flow into the car to a point .

Yeah I am a little surprised Devilrod , Customising in all aspects interests me and Id figured we were similar seeing as the one paint design I keep coming back too for the coupe is your car   :)

To that point yes, but I have a very definite idea of what I like to own and how it should be. I don't go looking for the next latest and greatest trends I just do what I like. Which has been done time and time again and is easily explained as the K.I.S.S. theory. Keep it simple stupid. Nothing too over the top and all complementing of the other mods. To me a well thought out and executed car doesn't have to involve alot of money or scream look at me, subtelty is my way with carefully chosen parts. Its funny I got asked just last week if my car was finished by a complete stranger at the shops. I said yes for now, his comment was it needs a set of chrome 20" wheels.    I'm guessing you know what my response was....  I was nice about it though

But then again bright white and candy red are made for each other! 8)

You're right Jimmy   , but overall there is nothing at all radical about it. Harko's coupe will quite likely have the same impact. Essentially it will lok a bit like the factory should have done, but improved upon if ya get what I mean. :?

HeY Scotty. I still have the 54 Hardtop. I swapped my 53 Sedan only last year for a 29 A model coupe.
