Post by Malcolm »

Welcome mez,

The car looks very good and will be great to see it finished.

So tell us, why have you been sitting on the fence watching for so long :?:

Will be good to see the progress pickies.

Cheers

Hope to see you at Yamba.

I'm glad someone made use of that car, it was on ebay a couple of times.
I like the clean, no strips look. Just my opinion, Trev 8).

Mez

Another custom about to hit the streets!

Its a big job to build a custom from scratch, but possibly harder at times to finish off what someone else has started

You have done well, and it is looking great

Cutting glass can be so frustrating, hope this one survives for you

I personally like a little brightwork to break up how big the side of a car can look, but that will be up to you.

Is always easier to add it than take it off.

Am looking forward to seeing it when its finished.

Mez its funny I have spoken to you a quite a few times never twigged that you were into FB EK's. I drive a fairly stock Green white 59 chev and run the car show for Lori Lee @ Greazfest. You need to post a photo of some of the other stuff thats lurks in your life. Like that caddy it would flip their wigs. I may come past your work at Sherwood and say Howdy. Cheers Mick

Mez I forgot to say if you are looking for hubcap ideas you should shoot down to my place at Mount Gravatt East. I have a real problem with hubcaps especially if they are spinners. Here is a snippet of one wall in my garage. Like I said. Its a sick disease. Wish I collected spoons. 8)

Welcome to the forum Mez, good to see someone making good use out of that car, how much has been put into the doors ? I put 200mm into mine.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.
