ValleyMistEK it is a bit like Christine. Maybe some goofy kid will get his hands on it one day & it will come back to life to terrorise the neighbourhood once more.

Yeah this pic is gorgeous ,Best custom EK ever .
I tell ya mate I feel like crying looking at all this bent metal , I feel for you and have loads of empathy .
I know what it takes to pour your heart into a build ,but then to do it again and again and again ,and to grow through the years with it being known as part of you it must have been hell to go through that and you would have lost part of you that you cant get back....
Thank you very much for the story :)

Now if you need something cool to build up I have an FC delivery that I chopped and dropped over a Toyota chassis .

Raked the tailgates forward 7 inches etc
I styled it along the lines of a nomad ... and Id like to see you build it 8)

It has been a great read Rob, best of all you are still here to tell it. Sure was cursed though maybe it is better left where it is.

I hope you do get excited enough to have another crack at some early holden tin, be good to see what you come up with this time....

Well I finally took the trip up to the farm to see my old heap. It had been 10 years since I seen it dissapear into oblivion on a trailer.
I had no reservations about seeing it again and was quiet suprised that the work I had done on the rear quarters was holding up well, although a tree had fallen on it and taken out the roof & boot. I entertained the thought of bringing it back to life.
