I was trying to see what clips I will need to finish putting the mouldings back on the EK.
It made me start looking to see exactly what I needed to find, and wonder how many times others have done the same.
The workshop manuals show some details (which I'll post up separately) but I was wondering if anyone had real images.
Both EK and FB stuff would be beneficial.

There a complete thread on this that Steve (aussie bob) did a few years back, someonewill post a link for ya..

Sam Crupi of Shepparton, VIC 03 5822 1379 (Member of Vic Club) makes the w clips for the side strips ............a does a great job too

Thanks Fingers, I was going to contact Sam about getting the w clips.

Found this in my photos and wonder if anyone knows about it.
the name of the image was called "clipsbyblacky"
And YES I tried Blacky and NO he doesn't know anything about them.

PS: Just saw that the image was from 01/09/2007, so it's not that recent.
The only other image I had on the same date was a light blue wagon (New paint, seats, scuff plates) with photo of new vinyl replacement for the back area.

I have taken a photo of the various clips that I already have.
It appears that finding these is not that easy, so I may have to actually make them.





"A" is the item Sam Crupi supplies. all the middle sections on EK's and FB lower mouldings.
"B" is off the roof section on the wagons.
"C" is off FB doors, middle clips.
"F" is off FB for back of the rear quarter panel
"G" is off FB, on the two ends of the back door, and end of the front door.
And maybe "J" was also same as "C". I think ?

"D" was off the front guards on EK. Not sure if they should all be the same?
"E" is off EK and FB, the back clip on the rear quarter panel.
"H" I don't remember what it came off. Might be rear of rear quarter panel, or rear of front guards on EK.
"I" is of EK, on the two ends of the back door, and two ends of the front door

Does anyone have a current supplier for these clips ?

D: Rares does these as part number MS0001 (Spring tail clip 10-24 X 5/8" bolt).
E: Rares does these in a variety of sizes:
16mm x 22mm as part number MB0001
13mmx 18mm as part number MB0002
19mmx 63mm as part number MB0003

Rares also does the rectangular clips that go into some body panel holes for badge pins to sit in as part number NS0043 (Clips letters and badges push in).
Earlybitz sells the round variety of these clips (e.g. the ones that hold the H O L D E N letters on an EK bonnet) on eBay.
