:D I want you to shut me up :D

Seriously you have done a heap of measurements by now right , do you honestly see it is going to work ? Without thinking too much into it Id reckon airbags dropping it over large diameter rims will work but steering clearancesa will suffer ,

If you have to widen the guard - I know its a heap more work but have you considered widening it on the outside of the centre line suage .
The door may need some to but could look real Fat

Personally I like wire wheels. 8) 8)

Would like to see what 15" would look like or 14" if possible.
I wouldn't go to any major lengths to re-engineer it fit them, so I'd want to keep it smaller. 8) 8)

But again I agree with the " do what YOU like it's your car" crowd.
Too extreme for me, but not my car.

Dream, it's how the future and visions are created, and it's something you do by yourself and for yourself.

Love to see how you would fit 22".
Could be done, (anything can be) but I'll bet it's going to be very very expensive and very technologically advanced.

I can't see how the HZ on the first page could steer either :? :?

You've done somthing simmilar with your car, yes? Guard fab.
Forget Skyline - your showing your age with that one  Have a look at a similar shaped Chevy and look at the thickness of the door / guard , It would lend itself well .

One tip I can give is Photoshop is your best friend :)

And in this case your photobucket will be our best friend :)

I think if you hadnt noticed already that comments towards what you plan are a little stubourn , Thats because you are doing something outside the square - against the grain .
I like against the grain  (insert what finny said here)

The thing which bothers me and only my opinion is this thing is going to have to be jacked up to steer it most probably and that is when the photographers will be like the paparazzi ,It will be looking like the new trend across America with those badonkey donk cars .
And hey they are different which is a good thing to strive for but to most they are rediculous different  and theres the fine line you are treading.

Make it cool not silly and dont go to mammoth lengths to make it silly , thats big time failure where everyone talks about what you did to the car for all the wrong reasons.

Theres a pic of an EK in the spotto section seen at Robbo pie shop I think , Have a look at its proportions , they are 18s on the rear and prob 15s on the front . Id be maxing out at 20 tops and you will still be the first to do that to my knowledge  8) .

Do it dude, the direction your going with your build is the way the new generation of modifiers seem to be going. I was in the states last year and attended sema, most of the coolest rides there featured big wheels, air bags and injected twin turbo V8's. I believe the true art of modifying is to be able to take a classic and bring it to today's standards without losing the original feel of the car. I guess at the end of the day there's really two types of builders, those who restore and those who modify. Choose your style and go for it!!!
