Wiper motor conversion - Vacuum to electric

Post by FB search »

Hi there folks,

I'm in the process of fitting an electric wiper motor to my FB.

I'm at the point of connecting the auxiliary drive assembly to the
connector arms.

I was just wondering if there is any advice from people who
have done this before I go drilling grinding and welding it all to fit.

I'm guessing I have to drill out the old auxiliary drive pivot shaft,
shorten it and graft on a bracket to suit the new wiper motor.
See pics for more detail.

Kindly

Dominic

P.S. if someone could take a pic of the coresponding EK shop
manual page showing the electric EK set up I'd be interested
to have a look. Thanks :)

no cutting or grafting or welding

the small arm on the back of the motor ( pm
