blue or black head on red 202
To fit a blue or black head to a red block you will need to muck around with the water holes . The best way to do it is to make a template of your new head with cardboard and then lay it over the block and see which holes line up and which holes need to be drilled/plugged.
To plug any holes not required the easiest way is to tap them out and get a grub screw with an allen head from coventrys or blackwoods, etc - use a good sealant on it and they will last forever.

I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

heres a little webpage i wrote on the subject of blue/black head on red block.
http://www.oldholdens.com/tech/eficonversion/#head
the whole page details the requirements for putting VK EFI into old holdens of which head conversion is one section.

i've heard if you put it on with VK EFI you need aftermarket computer, my plan (for an SC14 blower) is to fit VN computer to the VK EFI then i will be able to bolt the blower on and tune it no problems .... i haven't gotten too far yet though so i don't have alot of info, but if the blowers work on a stock vn v6 i shouldn't have any dramas other than some custom piping and brackets etc.

blue or black head on red motor
Thanks once again for the info.Would you need the computor from a vn already with a blower or do you reckon any vn computor would do.Just wondering wiyh a standard computor would it read a negative boost when in reality with the blower it would be possitive boost.if so would you need to trick it up to read positive.Look forward to any info.
