i've used datsun 1200/120y pedal with a little bit of bending used the same hole as others have mentioned and a xd &*#@ v8 cable when used with a holley whole job from start to finish takes about an hour very easy

thanks for the pic hemi i was actually thinking why didnt speed shops come up with this conversion could u please tell me though what are those attachments u have used there supporting the cable where it joins the pedal thanks troy

I might have to give this a try on the FE, it looks like with a bit of "creativity" you could avoid the cable going inside the car altogether.

The part you are talking about yeprat1 is standard L300, the fitting on the carby is standard choke fitting turned 90 deg.
Looks good if going for a clean simple engine bay and cheap too cost a whole $10
