Adjusting Boot on EK

hi everyone,

I am wondering if someone can help with my question. The right hand side boot spring mount is broken and i am wondering if anyone has any advise how to adjust the boot lid after we get the boot spring mount. Looks very complicated.
If anyone has got any information or pics it would be greatly appreciated.

Not too hard when you have one good side to copy the cantelever arm set up.
I fitted new high tensile pins, that had and allen key, a star washer, and
a lock nut to adjust spring tension.

They were heaps easier to fit,
than trying to fit the spring to the old fixed setting

Hi Bev.

Go back to "Parts For Sale" section and scroll down 5 or 6 posts to "Adjustable Boot Spring Post Kit".

I think this may be what you need.

Hey mate thanks so much for your reply regarding the parts.

Hoping we may get em and get that boot fixed.
