EARLY HOLDEN NUMBERS DATABASE
Hi everyone, for those who do not yet know , a recent visiter to our forum, DR Terry has for a number of years been collecting a vast database of early Holden vehicle numbers to collate a database of information that will answer questions regarding trim, engine number, paint combination, and a thousand other questions!
It is all done on a voluntary basis and he opennly offers this information to all concerned, Thanks DR Terry!
My point is this, why not try and make it a little easier for him to do by having a thread where we can post the plate etc details of vehicles we come accross to help get the information to him??
ANY vehicle from 48-215 to HR is needed, and the more info we can gather the more accurate the database will be, so please help by listing all of the numbers for any cars you stumble accross, I have listed mine (although he already has these ones) as an example, if you do not wish to post your details, you can PM them.
Thanks for the support in a wonderful resource that will help keep Old Holdens on the rod and our questions answered!
Matt

Hi Guys.
Just to add to what Matt has said. To keep it simple, I'm mainly after FB to HR numbers because the 48 to FC stuff is pretty well documented.
The format that he has given by example is perfect to work from.
You don't have to make your numbers public on the forum, you can send me a pm.
If you need any info I have I'm always glad to help.

Hi Smooth,
Do you have a complete list of trim codes you can forward to me? The list that I have posted up is incomplete.
Regards
Stewart

Many thanks for that Smooth.
I'm keen to receive them, even by snail mail etc. I will type them up myself if that makes it any easier.

Stewart
