Rear sway bar

Post by Brown Bear »

G'day all,

Does anyone out there have a KMac rear sway bar fitted to their FB /EK? I bought from evilbay some time ago, and would just like some pointers on installation as I just can't seem to get it to sit right. i.e. do the bar ends face the front or rear of the car, are they clamped above or below the leaf springs...

Also it came out of a ute and is going into a wagon - will this make any difference?

Many thanks,

Matthew

Matthew,

Try getting in touch with them 02 9556 1799 or www.k-mac.com.au at Rockdale. Not sure if they can help as I don't think the original owner still operates it (Kevin McIntyre = K-Mac) but they should at least have access to the original fitting instructions.

When I last dealt with them Kevin was still running the show at Taren Point but his health wasn't good (that was many years ago).

i have one of these, not currently fitted, but it snakes it way around the back of the diff and shocks, then heads towards the front of the car, it then has mounts which connect to the front of the bar and attach it to the leaf springs on either side.
Regards,

Sammy.
