FBEK Grille Bar Cleaner

My EK Spec. Sdn is Dk. Blu/Wht top, the chromework really stands out and I wanted to polish the Grille Bars,all dull and stained over the years! But after a frustrating time of trying Metal cleaners that didn't work and I might have to take them out and Machine Buff , old bloke in Vintage Car Club said get Autosol a white paste in tube and this is it! In Auto 1 Shops.
Also good for all the Hardware on the sides of your FC Special!

i find autosol to be a git to rough but u could try it on awet rag but persnally dont think metal cleaners do a lot on chrome.

Grille Bars are not Chrome Plated, they are Stainless Steel, and you have to use a Pumice Powder Based cleaner to get a Chrome Plated Finnish,
Try it, Good for your Show Car !

The "slats" are stainless steel but the vertical bars are chrome plated steel.

Autosol is the answer by hand, or pumice soap bars for machine polishing.
