I know this ones an FEFC but worth showing. I think I had the stub axles out of this in one of my cars.
Just re-read this thread and here's the sad 'n' sorry state of Catalina Park these days
P.S....you can't find the old dirt section any more...it's too overgrown!!
Scotty.

It was rebuilt after the rollover. Sadly Ted Burchill passed last year, good news is the car belongs to his son Ed.
Had a long chat with Laurie Sawtell, great guy for the record. The car has had extensive body modifications now, apparently looks a lot different.
cheers

This might be a very short thread, but
Have you got any pics of FB/EK Race Cars.
Lets see them.
This is Peter Beardmore's Low 10sec Comp Car
pictured at Gladstones Benaraby Raceway in march 1994.
Sam Rhodes made the cover of Dragster Australia in 2003
with his high flying 9sec Super Sedan at Kwinana WA
Best of all though, the Burchill & Sawtell Wild Bunch EK made the cover
and centerspread of Dragster Australia Nov 1993.
Unfortunatly the Burchill & Sawtell EK was lost to drag racing after barrel rolling
at a 1996 event at Gladstone.

I reckon they look great with radiused rear wheel arches
was always the plan with my black 2 door then every man and their dogs were taking any sh!tbox they could make move hanging wheels out the rear guards and jacking the front up and calling it a "gasser" so scratch that idea
sometimes yor just better off shitting in yor hands and clapping
