I discovered another missing grease boot from the driver side upper inner pivot do I unscrewed the bushes and managed to get the control arm to come off the shaft without removing it. On reassembly, I attempted to add a bit of caster to the driver side but found that the control arm inner end was touching the inner guard, so I put it back how it was.
Also replaced the handbrake ratchet handle with one from my old EK215 as the one on the car had been bent back and the plastic handle damaged. I upgraded the rear view mirror to a wider EK one so I can angle the peep mirrors out a bit more to help cover the blind spots better.

I notice one of the bottom ball joint rubbers is also torn but I think I will chance it with the clipboard jockeys. So I think I’m pretty well there. The draglink doesn’t seem to be touching on lock. I just want to touch up some cracks in the steering wheel and do some more cleaning and checking underneath. Hopeful I will be able to get dome SA plates on it and post the old ones off to the very patient Mr Jolliffe. It will go straight on hysterical rego, thereby minimising transfer stamp duty. We are still deliberating on plates.
