That is a very short ratio diff. Any idea what the overdrive ratio is in the box you have? Sorry about all the questions. Just thinking about how many revs you’ll be doing at the speed limit. 25 inch tyre height and 0.9:1 overdrive would be around 4500rpm. You could go up to around 27.5” tyre with 0.8:1 overdrive and get 3600rpm at 100kmh.

It’s taller than factory FB/EK (3.89:1), or am I missing something? It’s very tall for a Toyota G diff (3.2 to 7.6:1).

Yeah sorry, that figure is for 100mph. Using the Tremec app Harv. Stock 6.4R13 tyre is 25.27”. 3.89:1 diff the old grey is going 3216 rpm at 62.15 mph. With the 3.7 and 10% overdrive it is more like 2800 rpm. Bit more than my ute with the 3.08:1 in top at 2500rpm. My bad.

Hi Errol

Not sure mate box is a celica steel case 5 speed , will be running 15" wheels haven't got tyres as yet. The centre is a new true track and the gear set is new as well
