Thanks Greg. First I’ll try get a tad more of both on the driver side, focussing on getting the rear in a bit further.

Improved the caster on the drivers side to +1* camber -1/2*. Set toe in to 1mm. Disclaimer here, I don’t know that the tyre walls are rendered to that precision.

Thought I would attack the speedo before I road test. I hunted the shed high and low as I am sure I had a few dash fascia somewhere. Image
Could only find two.

The square drive on the speedo is flogged. Image
So looking for a replacement with close odometer reading, the one out of the old EK215 is remarkably close. Image

73miles?!

The FB special fascia buffed up pretty good. Just need to plug the cable in to the box and it is done.

I had mine refurbished , after chewing through 2 going to FOTR and back in 2023 - was only about $150 from memory.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Good to know. I got the old one to spin but was a bit tight. As I had a few handy I went for the quick fix. The replacement was a good runner and spins freely. The numbers may be a bit wonky as I recall doing a re-zeroing on it when swapping into Errol in about 1990.

Not since last fiddle. Speedo has gone to 110mph so have to pull it back out for another fiddle. My fault, I put the drill on it and gave it too many revs.

Got speedo working after a few shenanigans, and went for a sedate run out among the vines. No wandering and feels good at speed. A bit heavier in the corners. I swapped front runners side to side, and there was a knock/clip u-turning right but dissappeared now. Possibly knocked of a weight on the end of the top control arm. So back on the hoist.

In other news to hand, this arrived earlier today:Image

Used to run in a cam only. 390 primaries and vac secs are 1 7/16” intake bore whereas 350 are 1 1/2”. 9% less area so better for cruising. The other one I’ve got is a bit of an unknown quantity plus a near stripped fuel bowl attaching thread.
