That's reasonable for sure but the round ends are more the period. Could always turn down some square ones and buff them up Harv.

Re: Door jamb/dome light switches
Looms from EK special, standard and van and FB standard. All the wire is brittle and oxidised.

Door jamb/dome light switches
Yes the FB ones. Not nearly as common.
You should be able to get a pair of the EK ones off a HQ-J-X-Z at the local wreckers for a few bills.

Re: play in idler arm
The pivot bush and pin are usually the culprit and are universal fitment FE to HR. Cheap easy fix last time I did one which is 20 years ago.

Re: Door jamb/dome light switches
Common fit EK to HZ at least for the smaller ones. Never paid for one as they are generally prolific in the wrecking yards I have been known to frequent. A bit of a rub with emery paper and splice in to loom.

Re: RED rims - whats the history behind these?
I would talk to a wheel and rim works and see if they can make up rims to take your original centres. HK 14" rims won't the original caps.

Re: Transporting my FB to Brisbane
I've hit a couple in my sedan. Bent a few bits and flat spotted front tyres but not a stopper. Different story to when I hit one in an XF. Flattened everything against the block and pushed the water pump shaft on so the impeller left scores on the front outer cylinder casting. With the EK it was ...

Re: NoMAD's Kustom FB Sedan
Yeah no switches fitted. Just the holes. Now my "EK" van will be a real bitsa...... FC firewall etc. I noticed the heater hole is in a different spot and the regulator mount surface has raised flutes. Implications for fitting the warmaride and repro factory firewall insulation. Could also be an ...
