its a great idea i might use it to pull the bottom bits up to trim them off and stitch them. i never even thought of it.

I normally butt weld floorpans, tek screw them in then use a 1mm cutting disc to cut through the overlap a section at a time then butt weld as you go.
oh god.. why didnt i ask this a month ago.. that sounds like the way to do it.. oh well next one.

Hi all,
I'm currently replacing both my front floor pans.
I've replaced the passenger one and fully cut out the old pan as it had already been replaced some years ago and but welded in a new pan trying to keep the gaps to a minimum which i found out was harder than first thought.
So for drivers ...

So i nearly have 1 side rust free..
Inner sill and outer sill and rear quarter done. A little annoyed that the replacement inner sill isnt dimpled as per the original.. :sourrr:

another annoying little bit that was creased and i couldnt get it with the puller.

Glad its done now took a while but was trying to get the stock look to it. now its mainly just the patch sections to go in..
