Good to know you can get that bit and yes it is the mechanism I see now. The actual handles are the bit that are really hard to come by.

Westinghouse White. HZ with the RTS and not quite as bad as the HX on the anti-pollution spaghetti-fest. I had a van version. Good on the highway but hard to park.

It is definitely coming from front right of the driving position. It seems to persist when I open the drivers door. Squeak persists. I tidied up some loose fuel and brake lines that could have been contacting the accelerator pedal cable union but that wasn’t it.

Even though they are common through to WB van,I believe, they are like hens teeth, being prone to rusting out.

I don’t think it is in the suspension. I managed to get grease in all the driver side suspension points. I will tighten every fastener I can get to. I also need to look at the rear bushes, though I only replaced them about 12000 miles ago. We went for a run through the hills today and the car is oth...

I wound the offending bush out as far as I could without disengaging the taper, and pumped a lot of grease in. Torqued back up to 50 ftlb. Try agin.
