Bugger, Blacky beat me to it. To see a car that looked like a cheese grater to what it is now I'd be more than a happy camper. Great effort Neil.

Mmmm, the Holden god at work?
maybe a few litres of coolant would be cheaper than a few tyres?
get all your bad car luck out of the way on this trip, looks like good weather, have a better last half of your wander.

Should have two Neil, one to hold, the other to nip up, 10-20 will be close enough until you take it for a shake down run, they'll settle in, you might have found it by then.

Any meat left to machine off the wheel? couple mm might make a difference, then add in more camber than you need. Sometimes you just have to be satisfied with what ya got.

Re: Anyone use one of these or know someone who has??
Just had a quick look at their pics. Interesting lower coilover mounting position, at least it won't bottom out on the shock housing like my CRS does, i know they probably just threw it together for photos but the ball joint protrusion through the spindle arms is the same as CRS  the camber ...

Cause it took so long i needed a front end to mount the motor/trans so bought a CRS unit & left that in, Blacky bought the SCW unit.

Re: Drew’s van
Hi Neil, 120A police special, on eBay, or for double the price & a lot more amps at idle if you think it's needed, check out Mechman 170A. Ecotec must be some form of Chevy style mount.

Re: FB219 Standard StationSedan
Have to agree look'n great, just had a quick reread, the SCW f/e part amused me, exactly the same for me, except for the God DBogga bit, no coilovers, no pads, that was after 18mths, back in 2018/19 so at least things have improved a little.
Keep up the good work.
Cheers

. Depends how much people want to worry about flaring headlights, dimming gauges etc etc.
This is about poor voltage regulation, not amps produced is it not?😀
Yeah Brett, aren't we talking about low amps low volts at low engine revs, i'm not a sparky, don't know the ins & outs on the ...
