Re: Heat shielding
Thanks for the feedback. Guess we do have to suffer a little bit. Freds pizza long gone now, became gourmet pizza, now something called Jams, Not too sure what its like.

Heat shielding
Just want some advice on how to make the interior of my FB a little cooler, especially in summer. The front passenger floor does get warm from the muffler underneath. Is it possible to put heat shielding between the muffler and floor (underneath the car) I have had a new floor pan put in, and some ...

Re: Drums for FB needed
Just a quick update. Went with the EH drums, and they did the trick really well.

Re: Panel from engine bay.
Thank you.....wish it wasn't so removeable!! So now I know what it is, hopefully I can locate one.
So does anyone have a removeable stoneguard for the petrol pump side of an FB Holden?

Panel from engine bay.
Okay, so not my doing, but my mechanic seems to have 'lost' part of my car. I have no idea what it is called, and I can't find it in the owners manual, so hopefully one of you will know what I am talking about.

Braided Fuel Hose
Hi all, just ordered and received a Braided Fuel Hose from Early Holden Parts. Looked really good, but when I tried to fit it, no dice at all. The end going into the fuel pump was way too big. Waiting for a reply, but I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this, and how do I get a correct ...

Re: Drums for FB needed
Thanks for that. The mechanic will be going to Burts first, so fingers crossed they can work their magic. Still good to know that we have a plan B.

Re: Drums for FB needed
Thank you for that. From what I am reading, it appears that the EH drums will fit on an FB, is this correct? If so, it might be an easier/quicker fix.

Drums for FB needed
Brake drums needed. Definitely need at least one rear, but if anyone in Sydney can assist with with a pair of front and a pair of rear drums, that would be terrific. I am in the Carlingford/Guildford area and need them for my FB's rego renewal. Many thanks.

Linwood House at Guildford
A little bird told me that there are going to be a few FBs and EKs at Linwood House over at Guildford tomorrow. Might be able to get over there and have a look at some tidy examples that you chaps have! I work not far away in Guildford West where my FB travels to each day. If a cheeky little kid ...

Looks like someone finally unearthed that European Left Hand Drive!! The G and S representing 'guida a sinistra' which is Italian for LHD.

Re: Transmission noise
Thanks again for the advice. Getting it seen to early saved $$$ and ensured a quick return. Gearbox overhauled and some extra work done on the steering. Much more settled driving and just in time for the cold weather too.
Blue ute
Spotted a lovely blue FB/EK ute on Monday travelling along Fowler Rd in Merrylands, number plate starting 'LM'. couldn't see the front, but jeez it was nice to be travelling together for a few kays (I was in my FB; gearbox sorted!) Sorry I couldn't get a photo - didn't want to risk the fine, but she ...

Re: Transmission noise
Thanks for the advice. Took it over to the garage in Guildford that I use, and it will be off to get refreshed. Hopefully back on the road in a week or so.
