Re: Here comes another one ……

If you can salvage the upper tailgate hinges, I would appreciate it.
There may be a another ute that needs internal hinges as I have done on Ammo's ute.
Cheers,
Roger

Re: SA All Holden Day 2026

Bugger, I missed looking at the HR wagon. It had a lot of interest over the day.

A huge day made easier by the members who stepped up to help. Be this on the gate or in the BBQ area.
Richard has a great team on the parking with most in and parked by 9.00am
Dodgy cook

SA All Holden Day 2026

Happy to say we are hosting the 2026 All Holden Day again at Wigley Reserve at Glenelg on the 18th Jan 2026.
A few changes from last AHD with the club doing the BBQ and a Hot Dog stand.
Great is see a number of members stepping up with setup, cooking - serving and raffle.

AHD sponsor

Hi
Today we had a photo session at one of our All Holden Day sponsors, St Francis Winery at Old Reynella.
They asked if we could have a couple of cars to photograph for their website.
Too easy, so as they have provided vouchers for the raffle.

Raised the front about 50 mm and I have clearance on the guards.
I should be happy but it goes against the grain to raise a car. The lower to better I think.

Re: Ammo's Ute

I pulled the coils out yesterday as there is little steering angle before the tyrs rub on the guard.
I trimmed and rolled the guard so now I need talled springs.
Grabbed a set from Richard, on the left, that I think will work

Ensured the diameter of the coil the same so ride will be ...

Re: SA club cruise to Finniss General Store

Great cruise through the southern hills with cool cars.
My leading the cruise out of Adelaide was interesting as the GPS had us on a couple of narrow winding roads but we made it to Meadows to meet up with Clay and the southern guys.
Thought a back shot was in order.

Re: Ammo's Ute

Thanks Greg for the link.
I spend considerable time to day getting the trim into the rubber groove with some success.
I knocked out any bumps and filed any sharp ends on the trim before staring.
The upper corner trim are not sitting down so I banged it with the palm of my hand but no movement.

Re: Ammo's Ute

I did actually read the workshop manual before starting although as male, is seemed a waste of time, as we know how to do stuff, even if we have done it before.
I will do the U Tube Rare Spare today as it will 43C in Adelaide so no shed time.

Re: Ammo's Ute

Started on the fitting the front windscreen now that I have purchased new glass.
Pulled, pushed, said a few naughty words and got the new rubber fitted. Now for the trim
Had go yesterday and succeeded in only pulling the rubber half way off with a small section of the corner trim slid in.
My using ...
