A few more progress pics, I have finished welding in the floor pans and trans tunnel. I also welded some reinforcement into the new trans tunnel to replace the bit that was lost when I removed the old tunnel.

A couple of coats of 3M Kahguard came up really nice on the under body.

Thats what I thought, I don't think i'll bother hanging on to them as I don't have an original gearbox/motor/front or rear end. I doubt I will ever go to the expense and heartache to find the bits to make the car original again. I'll put the bits on the for sale page for the price of postage only.

Does that mean I don't need them on my current configuration???

I could really do with a new one of these if anyone wants to part with one.

Finished stripping and sanding the roof and rear quarters and ready to put a coat of Single Pack Epoxy Etch Primer on it to keep it all protected while I plod away replacing the floor and fixing all the little rust holes.

Back from the blasters, there were a few little surprises and definitely some evidence of previous repairs but generally pretty good. Have ordered a set of floor pans from Rare Spares and I have my new transmission tunnel from Waddingtons to weld in too.
