Re: The next one to go....

Hi Wayne.

No, I haven't heard of Brian Henderson's Hawk. They were a cool looking car though.

Re: The next one to go....

I'm a member of Pittwater Motor Enthusiasts Club (as well as a couple of others). Lost of different cars and bikes and a nice bunch of blokes. The Benz is now up in the shed of a hobby farm I have in Stroud. It's good to give it a long run every now and then. I'm bringing it down to Sydney soon.

The next one to go....

100_0600.jpg Hi guys

Looks like the Studebaker Champ has been sold. That's the good news. The bad news is that what I got for it will go on the motor rebuild on the TBird. Easy come etc.

My next orphan to go is this 1962 Mercedes-Benz 220SE. It's ironic that a car that was so expensive and ...

EK Wagon in Avalon

Hi guys

I spotted a very nice blue and white EK wagon in Avalon (NSW) at about 6 this morning. Does it belong to anyone on the forum? It was still dark and I didn't get a chance to get a photo but I will if I see it again.

Cheers

Re: Central West NSW Barn find....not Holden

A nice find there. They were interesting old cars with a bit of style. They probably cost quite a bit more than a Holden of the same era but are worth only a fraction now.

A Visit to the Dark Side F**D

Hi Guys

You may as well see some pictures of the car that is giving me all of the grief. I've had it since December last year. One day it will be nice to drive it without fear of it self-destructing.

Re: My 61 Studebaker Champ Pick Up

By the way, for those who are interested, I've put the Champ on Gumtree at a very low price. I'm open to trades as well.

Re: My 61 Studebaker Champ Pick Up

Hey Bootlegger

I agree. I have always liked oddball cars too. Case in point: The Studebaker was a factory RHD. They are as rare as proverbial rocking horse poo but try to find a sector shaft for one! When you can find the parts they cost more to do up and but you can only sell them for a fraction ...

Re: My 61 Studebaker Champ Pick Up

It is cool but it's got to go. I'm selling it because I want an FB or EK. I've decided not to have any more orphan cars.

My 61 Studebaker Champ Pick Up

100_0492.JPG

When was the last time you saw one of these? These were popular back in the day as tow trucks. They have a nice little 259 V8 and go very well. Factory RHD as well. They came out at a time when Studebaker was going down the tubes. They did a deal with Dodge to use their rear trays ...
